Common questions
Why can’t you just put shingles on it?
Shingles shed water — they don’t seal against it. Under a 2:12 slope water moves too slowly and can push back underneath, so low-slope roofs need a membrane.
Why does my flat roof hold water?
Slope and drainage. A membrane can be watertight and still fail early if water sits on it — drainage is part of the job, not an extra.
How much does a flat roof cost?
It depends on the size and how many edges, curbs and penetrations need detailing. You get a written quote after we’ve seen it.
Can you repair my existing flat roof?
We’ll look at what the membrane is and how it has aged, then tell you honestly whether a repair will hold or you’d be pouring money into a roof at the end of its life.
